Terms of Service.

The rules for using WagBooking. Written in plain English so you can actually read them.

Effective August 17, 2026

1. Who we are

WagBooking is operated by William Herrington, a sole proprietor based in Ontario, Canada (“WagBooking,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). When these Terms say “you,” they mean the person or business that signs up for an account.

2. What WagBooking does

WagBooking is software that helps pet groomers run their business — scheduling appointments, managing client and pet records, taking online bookings, sending reminders, and recording checkouts. You use it through a web browser or a mobile app. Some features (like text messaging) rely on third-party services, which are subject to their own terms.

3. Your account

You need to create an account to use WagBooking. You’re responsible for keeping your password secure and for anything that happens under your account. If you invite staff members to join your team, you’re responsible for what they do inside your account too. Let us know promptly if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.

You must be at least the age of majority in your province or country to create an account, and you agree that the information you provide is accurate.

4. Free trial

New accounts get a 30-day free trial of a paid plan. No credit card is required to start the trial. If you add a payment method during your trial, the card is automatically charged the monthly subscription fee for the plan you chose when the trial ends and the subscription starts. If no payment method has been added by the end of the trial, the subscription simply ends — no charge, no auto-billing.

5. Subscriptions and fees

WagBooking is a monthly subscription. Fees are shown on our pricing page and inside the app before you subscribe, and are billed in advance for each monthly period. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Some plans include a monthly allotment of SMS messages. If you go over your allotment, additional messages are billed at the per-message rate shown on your billing settings page. To prevent surprise charges, there is a hard monthly cap on SMS overage — once you hit it, further SMS sends are blocked until the next billing cycle or until you raise the cap.

We may change our fees or plan features from time to time. If we do, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before the change takes effect on your subscription. If you don’t agree with the change, you can cancel before it takes effect and it won’t apply to you.

6. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel your subscription anytime from Settings → Billing inside the app. Your subscription stays active through the end of the current billing period, so you don’t lose access mid-month. After that period ends, your account moves to a read-only state and no further charges are made.

Fees already paid are non-refundable, except where required by law. We don’t pro-rate for partial months.

7. Text messages and email

WagBooking can send text messages (SMS) and emails on your behalf — for example, appointment reminders, booking confirmations, and review requests. When you enable these features and add a client’s phone number or email to your account, you confirm that you have the client’s consent to contact them for scheduling and appointment purposes.

Clients can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to a message; they can request help by replying HELP. Standard carrier message and data rates may apply for recipients.

8. Your data and your clients’ data

You own the information you and your clients put into your WagBooking account (client contacts, pet records, appointments, notes, photos, and the like). You grant us permission to store, process, and display that information as needed to provide the service — for example, showing your appointment list on your calendar, sending a reminder text you configured, or displaying a client’s pet profile to a staff member you invited.

We don’t sell your data. We don’t use it to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture of what we collect, why, and who we share it with.

You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for making sure you have the right to collect and store your clients’ personal information under applicable privacy laws (like PIPEDA in Canada).

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use WagBooking for anything illegal, harmful, or fraudulent.
  • Send spam, unsolicited marketing, or messages a recipient hasn’t consented to receive.
  • Attempt to break, probe, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service or the systems that host it.
  • Access accounts, data, or areas of the service that aren’t yours.
  • Resell, sublicense, or white-label the service without our written permission.
  • Use the service in ways that impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or degrade the service for others.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, especially when there’s a risk to other users, our platform, or the recipients of messages sent through the service.

10. Third-party services

WagBooking relies on third-party providers to deliver certain features — Supabase for data storage, Stripe for payments, Twilio for SMS, Postmark for email, Cloudflare for network delivery, and Google for optional sign-in. Your use of those features is also subject to the applicable provider’s terms. We’re not responsible for outages, errors, or actions of those providers, though we’ll work to route around problems where we can.

11. Service availability

We work hard to keep WagBooking running, but we don’t promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance, upstream outages, network problems, and bugs happen. When they do, we’ll work to fix them as quickly as we can.

WagBooking includes offline support for many workflows (viewing your schedule, writing appointment notes, uploading photos), so short interruptions in connectivity generally don’t stop your day.

12. No warranty

WagBooking is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the service will meet every requirement of your business or that it will always be free of errors.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, WagBooking’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose. WagBooking is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, even if we’ve been advised of the possibility. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify WagBooking against claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the service in violation of these Terms or applicable law — including claims by your clients or staff related to how you collected, stored, or communicated with them through the service.

15. Termination

You can cancel your subscription anytime as described in section 6. We can suspend or terminate your account if you materially violate these Terms, if we’re required to by law, or if continuing your account would create a safety or security risk for our platform or its users. Where reasonable and safe, we’ll try to give notice first. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (data ownership, limitations of liability, indemnification, governing law) do survive.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. When we make a change, we’ll update the “Effective” date above and, for changes that materially affect your rights or obligations, we’ll notify you by email or through the app before they take effect. Continuing to use WagBooking after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You and WagBooking agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario for any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the service.

18. Contact
